Infrarail, the definitive exhibition of products and services for the rail infrastructure market in the UK, is taking place at Hall 3 (just minutes walk from Birmingham International Rail Station) of the NEC in Birmingham from 1-3 May 2012.
Despite global economic uncertainty, investments in Britain’s national railway infrastructure are poised to rise over the next three years, promising busy times ahead for suppliers across the entire sector.
Spending on asset renewals in the last three years of Network Rail and the Office of Rail Regulation’s Control Period 4 will also increase, with an annual average of £2,534 million budgeted – up 9% on the preceding two years.
Many opportunities exist from ongoing plans including HS2, Crossrail, Thameslink, main line electrification, modernization of the London Underground Network, urban transport projects throughout the country. |
