The Australian International Motor Show (AIMS) is an auto show held bi-annually at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour, New South Wales, Australia. In 2008 and before, the show was held annually, but in 2009 it was announced that the show will be held bi-annually between Sydney and Melbourne. Previously the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries held separate shows, Melbourne's being the Melbourne International Motor Show.
The Australian International Motor Show is the flagship event for the Australian motor industry. Filling to capacity the 28,000 square metres of the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre at Darling Harbour, the show offers a line-up of all new, re-designed or upgraded production models and concept cars from around the world. | |
