The government is currently in the process of allocating billions of Baht for long term reclamation projects which will be of immediate and long-term assistance in ensuring the situation is corrected as soon as possible …and does not repeat in the future. The Thai Ministry of Industry has announced a long term plan to provide loans to the value of 500 million THB at a fixed interest rate of 3% for 3 years to help companies rehabilitate and repair machinery damaged by the flooding. For SMEs outside the industrial estates in 30 provinces, loans to the value of 240,000 million THB will be available.
