Decoration+Design is one of the satellite events of the State of Design Festival, and runs simultaneously in the same time as Furnitex, the Australia largest furniture and furnishings trade fair. Furnitex, Decoration+Design are unapologetic commercial events focussing on selling of products/designs as opposed to concepts. Designs should be market-read. The State of Design Festival is a Victorian government initiative incorporating a number of design events across a number of industries and as such is not only Australia largest design event but attracts industry and commercial buyers of design from a range of industries.
