Boasting a large number of reference projects and more than 220 transport technology firms, Berlin as Germany's centre of transport engineering excellence is the ideal host for InnoTrans - a platform for national and international sellers and buyers of passenger and freight transport technology. InnoTrans has established itself as an international showplace of the industry with a strong emphasis on railway systems. A wide range of rail vehicles will be shown in the Static Display on the Messe Berlin tracks located just outside the exhibition halls. Other major features will include "BahnBau", "Public Transport", "Transport IT" and "Services". Accompanying the fair will be the InnoTrans Convention, which will include such major events as the Congress of the Deutsches Verkehrsforum (German Transport Forum) and Verband Deutscher Verkehrsunternehmen (Association of German Transport Undertakings - VDV), and the "BahnBau" meeting of the Association of German Railway Engineers (VDEI).
