The exhibition will be the largest in terms of exhibitor numbers in the 15-year history of the event, providing hard evidence of the vitality of the tyre and automotive equipment sector in the region. “In 2009 the market was cautious and uncertain as a result of the global financial crisis. But two years later we are looking at the greatest number of companies that have ever been involved in the event,” confirms Rowena Suthers, sales director for event organiser ECI International. “The change in mood and confidence is very noticeable and we are optimistic that will also increase further the number of local and international visitors who come to do business at the show,” she added. With more than 160 exhibitors from 40 countries confirmed to take part, Tyrexpo Asia 2011 will be the largest edition of the show to be staged in the Singapore Expo Centre. The expo takes place over three days from 29-31 March 2011.
